ZAYTUNA MINARA PROGRAM
Zaytuna's Minara programs are intensive weekend workshops offered for the many Muslims who are searching for sacred knowledge while grappling with the arduous scheduling demands of the modern world. Aimed at bringing high-quality Islamic education to people in their communities in a convenient yet powerful format, this program provides a concentrated educational offering which includes practical, relevant knowledge for students to apply in their daily efforts to better themselves and strengthen their connection to the Islamic tradition. The first interfaith Ramadan dinner / programme was held on Saturday September 29th 2007.

The program started with a recitation of the Quran and its English translation.
A welcome address was presented by Dr. Mahrukh Azam (sister Mona), professor of chemistry at West Chester University.
