By Allah's Grace, the second Interfaith Dinner and Iftaar was held at upper Providence school on Saturday September 21st 2008.
The programme was well attended and apreciated.

The program is only for Ladies and lecture will be in Urdu. Sr. Iffat Maqbool will be the speaker. She holds a Masters Degree in Islamic Studies from Punjab University and studied from various scholars in Egypt . She is an inspirational teacher of the Nur-ul-Quran Online Tafseer Classes. She has given several workshops and halaqas in Pakistan and the United States . She is conducting Quran Tafseer classes for all ages online and on-site for the past six years. She is a Houston resident and is visiting the North-East as part of a Dawah project.

Asslam-o-Alakum, We are organizing a mini group camping at French Creek State Park on 7/19/2008 for two days. It will be nice time for fun and social activities with other families. 1- Minimum two nights reservation is required for the weekend. So we will have no option but to reserve the nights of 7/18 and 7/19 (even if we choose to show up only on Saturday morning). 2- The cost per family will come to be $40 ($ 20 per night fee for camp site) 3- No food will be provided. Each family will arrange their own but welcome to share as all campsite will be close to each other.
