Al Hamdolillah the wellness day was concluded successfully at North Penn Mosque, Lansdale.
The Day's activities included a talk by Imam Adil Salim Woods, a seminar "Know your Rights" by CAIR- Philadelphia, a WHY-ISLAM Dawah booth etc. Doctors were available for health screening. Food and rides were also available.

A canned food drive is being held at North Penn Mosque, Lansdale. The cans will be provided to the soup kitchen "Manna at Main Street".
Please participate wholeheartedly.

On Saturday July 8th from 10 AM to 3 PM Insha Allah there will be a wellness day at Lansdale Masjid. A WHY ISLAM Dawah booth will also be setup on the occasion.

It includes a free Health clinic. Screening for Blood Pressure, Blood Sugar, Cholestrol will be performed.

Nutritional Information, Healthier Eating habits, Healthy Lifestyles Information will be provided. Physical Assessments and Personal Trainers will e available.

Islamic Scholars will give presentations on "Family Happiness and wellness", "Achieving Total Well being", "Purification of the Spirit". There will also be a CAIR civil rights seminar.

Al Hamdolillah! Many Islamic volunteers particpated in the "Walk against Hunger" in Philadelphia on April 8th despite pouring rain. The participants came from North Penn Mosque Lansdale, ISGVF Devon and other masjids. A good amount was collected towards the Masjid-Allah community programmes.

Insha Allah on April 1st, 5:00 PM, there will be a fundraising dinner for Levittown Mosque & Darul-Uloom Madania, Buffalo, NY. Sheikh Ibrahim Memon will speak on "Muslims' role in an Islamic Society"

Congratulations to Brother Umar Maharoof of North Penn Mosque, Lansdale on the birth of his son Hasan Ali Maharoof. May Allah give his family the best blessings in the world and the Hereafter.

Insha Allah this year also a team from North Penn Mosque, ISGVF Devon, Whyislam.org and other local Islamic organizations will participate in the Walk Against Hunger 2006 on Saturday April 8th.
Last year over $2700/= dollars were raised for the Masjid-Allah community Soup kitchen.
Corporate sponsors have promised to match the raised funds.

Praise be to Allah! The North Penn Mosque regularly participates in neighborhood Soup Kitchens, providing food. The last Soup kitchen was at "Manaa on Main Street", on Sunday February 26th. Next Sunday (March 12th) they plan to provide more food there. Food is served around 1:00 P.M. Please volunteer with a tray or two catering to 15 - 20 people. Dishes such as Chicken and Vegetable Biryani/Pulao etc are very popular with the American visitors.

The annual Winter camp of Lansdale masjid is being held on Feb 17th to 19th.
Come Ski or Snowboard, Islamic Workshops,Team Building, Speakers and Games Plus Islamic Role Playing!!!!

Praise be to Allah! The demonstration in Philadelphia was successful.
500 to 600 demonstrators turned up and participated in an orderly but strong protest against reprinting of the cartoons disrespecting Prophet Mohammad Peace be upon him.
Many members of the press were interviewing the muslims.
Many brochures and flyers were distributed to the passers-by introducing them to the Prophet of Islam and his message.
Prominent speakers from the muslim organizations made speeches at the occasion explaining the position of Muslims on this issue and demanding an apology from the Philadelphia Inquirer.
