Insha Allah the Graduation programme of Sunday Islamic School students at
Islamic Society of Greater Valley Forge, Devon will be held on
Sunday June 4th at 11 AM.
Brother Tariq Scherfen of Pottsville PA, will be a guest speaker.

On Saturday May 20th, Shaikh Hamad Chebli, Imam of ISCJ, New Jersey gave a talk on the Seerah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon Him).
The program was well attended with a good question and answer session.

Insha Allah the Monthly Dars at ISGVF, Devon will be held on Saturday May 20th at 6:30 PM. The Guest speaker will be Shaikh Hamad Chebli, the Imam of Islamic Society of Central Jersey, NJ.

Al Hamdilillah! Br. Tariq Scherfen gave an inspiring and informative presentation at ISGVF, Devon on April 22nd after Asar prayers at 6:30 PM. He is a Former U.S.Army Helicopter Pilot Officer and Persian Gulf War Veteren. The powerpoint presentation lasted till Magrib, just before 8:00 PM and the interesting question and answer session lasted until Isha at 9:15 P.M. See Photos
Br Tariq first descibed how the basic information on Islam is explained during Dawah. The concepts explained included: Meaning of Islam, The word "Allah", The Kalimah "There is no God except Allah and Mohammed is His Messenger", the revealed Books. Hazrat Maryam (Mary) (p) and Issa (Jesus) )(p) are respected and mentioned in the Quran.

Insha Allah Shaykh Riyadh ul Haq from UK will be presenting a lecture on "Our Duty to the Prophet's Sunnah" at Foundation of Islamic Education, Villanova.

Al Hamdolillah! Many Islamic volunteers particpated in the "Walk against Hunger" in Philadelphia on April 8th despite pouring rain. The participants came from North Penn Mosque Lansdale, ISGVF Devon and other masjids. A good amount was collected towards the Masjid-Allah community programmes.

Insha Allah the monthly talk at Islamic Centre of Greater Valley Forge at Devon will be held on March 25th at 6:20 PM (after maghrib prayers). Speaker: Br. Mubin Kathrada from NJ Topic: Holy Prophet (peace be upon Him), An Ideal for Muslims.

Insha Allah this year also a team from North Penn Mosque, ISGVF Devon, Whyislam.org and other local Islamic organizations will participate in the Walk Against Hunger 2006 on Saturday April 8th.
Last year over $2700/= dollars were raised for the Masjid-Allah community Soup kitchen.
Corporate sponsors have promised to match the raised funds.

Insha Allah, there will be a Seerah programme on March 12th (6:00 PM) at Foundation of Islamic Education, Villanova
The Guests of Honor include Shaykh Adil Saleem Woods and Haji Noor Deen (Eminent Calligrapher from China).
