InshaAllah, WhyIslam will be having a Dawah Booth next Saturday, 3/24/2007 from 10am-7pm at The Shops at Liberty Place in downtown Philadelphia. InshaAllah, volunteers will be needed. There are 4 shifts available:

9:30am-12pm (setting up)
12pm-2:30pm
2:30pm-5pm
5pm-7:30pm (closing down)

Asalaamualaikum WRWB,

Alhamdulillah, the WhyIslam Dawah Workshop in Delaware in was successful. Located at the Islamic Society of Delaware (www.isdonline.org), the purpose of this workshop was to kick off Dawah efforts in that location. We introduced WhyIslam to the community, following that, we had four presentations. The first presentation spoke about Muslims accomplishments throughout history, the next about Muslim/Christian Dialogue, and the next presented an interactive Dawah session, where mock Dawah scenarios were acted out. Br. Aqil gave the last presentation on his journey to Islam. Many thanks to Br. Sadiq for inviting us to have our workshop in that community. May Allah reward all involved in this effort.

Insha Allah on July 23rd, the Philadelphia Majlis As Shura is holding a City wide Picnic/Maida/Barbeque at Belmont Plateau in Faimount Park.

InshaAllah, WhyIslam will have a Dawah workshop at the Islamic Society of Delaware on Saturday, July 22, 2006. Br. Tariq Schefren has been confirmed as one of the speakers. Abdul Haleem Fernandes and Dr. David Coolidge are tentative. This will be a great opportunity for all Muslims and WhyIslam volunteers as we can use this to improve our Dawah. Flyer is attached.
