The Philadelphia chapter of Islamic Relief is holding its annual Day of Dignity event this year on August 30th, 2009. The purpose of the Day of Dignity event is to provide homeless and low-income people with food, clothing, medical aid, hygiene kits, etc (see attached flyer). We are reaching out for food donations. Attached is a flyer of the event for your reference. We are looking for volunteers to assist on the day of the event.
