This year’s 35th Annual ICNA-MAS Convention will be in Hartford, CT on Memorial Day weekend. This year’s theme is Save Family Save Society. Some of the event Highlights are Parallel Youth Convention, Family Counseling, Matrimonial Service, Interfaith Event, Islamic “Halal” Entertainment, Cultural Bazaar and much more. The Philadelphia chapter of Islamic Relief is holding its annual Day of Dignity event this year on August 30th, 2009. The purpose of the Day of Dignity event is to provide homeless and low-income people with food, clothing, medical aid, hygiene kits, etc (see attached flyer). We are reaching out for food donations.

ICNA has organized a Muslim camping trip on the July 4th weekend. This had been a sold-out event in the previous years. Please register early to secure your place. Full details are in the attached flyer, here are some points to note:
- Check in around noon on Friday July 3rd
- Juma prayers at the campground
- Check out after Zuhr on Monday July 5th
